Hi, I’m Mackenzie! I love the time I get to connect with clients in my chair. Whether it’s creating a safe space to relax and talk, or seeing their face light up when they leave my chair, I’m honored to share my meticulous passion for my craft. I knew from a young age that hair is what I wanted to do. My dream became reality when I graduated from the Aveda Institute Des Moines in 2012. Since graduating from the Aveda Institute, I have worked at New York Fashion Week, participated in photoshoots for the North American Hairstyling Awards and became a certified hair color educator for Aveda. If I’m not behind the chair, you’ll most likely find me organizing or cleaning. Aside from that, I love spending time with my high school sweetheart turned husband, Chris, and our two daughters, Luca and Lennon. My passion for hair is just about equally matched by my passion for food, wine, cooking, baking, plants and gardening, and traveling.Business Hours

Cancellation Policy
Life is busy, beautiful and chaotic. I understand life happens and things come up or are out of our control at times. With that, please respect my time that I’ve allotted for your appointment by following my cancellation policy, as I will respect your time if I need to cancel your appointment.
C L I EN T S :
For cancellation or rescheduling requests, please contact me at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Cancellation or rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment will result in a 50% charge. Failure to show up without notice for your appointment will result in a 50% charge.
F O R M A C K E N Z I E :
If I cancel on you within 24 hours of your appointment, you will receive a 20% discount on your next service for the inconvenience of your time. I will reschedule you as soon as possible, waving the high priority appointment fee.
L A T E N O T I C E :
If you are running late, please contact me as soon as possible ahead of appointment to give me notice. I will accommodate up a 15 minute late arrival. Late arrival may result in the service(s) schedule to be modified in order to accommodate my other clients and my time. After 15 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and will result in a 50% charge.
If I am running 15 minutes late or more, I will do my best to contact you prior to appointment and a 10% credit will be applied to your service*.
*Scheduled service(s) at the time of booking appointment. Any add-ons, will not be eligible. Will be applied during checkout when you come in for appointment.
